Agri – Impact Limited (AIL) was adjudged for the third time as the Outstanding Agribusiness Management Consulting Firm of the year and Excellence in Greenhouse Innovation Technology of the year at the Prestigious Ghana Agribusiness Excellence and Leadership Awards on Wednesday, 22nd November 2023, at the Accra International Conference Center.
The Prime Minister of Anguilla, Honourable Premier Ellis L. Webster and First Lady, Michelle Webster-Connor along with other notable dignitaries like the Speaker of the National Assembly, Barbara Webster-Bourne and Husband visited the Agri-Impact Greenhouse Cluster in Dawhenya during his recent visit to Ghana for the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. The visit was organized by Lady Dentaa Amoateng, the President of Guba, and her media team.
Youth constitute 36% of 32.5 million people in Ghana. The youth population in Africa is projected to reach 42% of global population by 2030 (World Economic Forum). Despite the challenges of unfavourable land tenure systems, limited technical capacity, erratic climate and inadequate financing, the agriculture sector offers huge opportunities to create decent and sustainable jobs for youth, women and differently able persons.
