Farming in Ghana

As part of efforts to enhance the staff capacity of Agri-Impact Group, two employees of Fresh Logistics, a subsidiary of the leading agribusiness firm, participated in the 12th edition of the Rijk Zwaan Afrisem Limited International Field Days 2025, held in Usa River, Arusha, Tanzania.  

Prince Kofi Boateng, Production Manager at Fresh Logistics, and Francis Awumee, Enterprise Development Officer, represented the company at the event from January 21 to 24, 2025.  

As a young Ghanaian with a passion for agriculture and a fresh degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, I am incredibly inspired by the HAPPY (Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth) Program. This program has provided thousands of youth with dignified work opportunities across four value chains: rice, poultry, tomato, and soybean, within the agribusiness space.
